Last week, Sentinel hosted its annual fine arts and applied skills showcase. The showcase was a celebration of the accomplishments of Sentinel students in the fine arts and applied skills classes throughout the year.
The show featured displays of photography, ceramics/3D design, visual art, woodworking projects, and an online slideshow of projects from the animation academy students. The showcase also included a fashion show, where Sentinel students walked the runway in outfits made by the textiles students, a performance by the Spartan Singers and a performance by the Jazz Band. The foods classes prepared delicious desserts and snacks for everyone to enjoy! It was an inspiring evening that showcased multiple aspects of Sentinel’s fine arts and applied skills program.
It was amazing to watch the fashion show and performances as well as walk around the library and marvel at the amazing photography, visual art, sculptural, and woodwork pieces Sentinel students have made.
