“Coughy Filters” - Mask Ideas

As we continue to navigate through the Covid-19 pandemic, it is crucial to help protect and support our community here at Sentinel. As mask usage has continued to see an overwhelmingly positive rise, creative ideas reinforcing mask usage have begun to emerge… perhaps most notably, mask trends! We encourage that everyone participates as much as they can in wearing masks for the safety of our school and others. Here are some of our top picks for fun masks to enliven outfits and lift the spirits of those surrounding you!

They’re funny and effective in reducing COVID-19 cases.

What more could you ask for?

Yes, it’s another animal face mask! But this time, it’s in the form of one of your favourite furry companions: dogs! Perhaps this mask could be worn in celebration of our new article on Sentinel “S-paw-tans.”

Designer Jyo John Mulloor created “The Care Mask”: a customizable line of masks that turn regular surgical masks into creative imagery. They were created under the grounds that some hospital sections can seem far from pleasing; the goal was to design a funny mask that is medical-grade and can hopefully lift the spirits of patients. It’s “A twist that’s cool, new and, above all, human,” says Mulloor.

Do you want to make an impact this school year? Want to stand out and claim your place in Sentinel’s community, all doing so in the most stylish manner possible? Fulfill this goal by placing a daring quote on your mask! Sentinel better watch out, because here you come, strutting down our hallways with confidence and class.

If you have a very specific image in mind that you want on your mask, you could always customize your own! Be creative, show off some original art, or make a pun—it’s all up to you. Or, stick to the basic “Your Image Here” if that’s more your style—no judgment here!

Sentinel Grad Masks

Calling Grade 12s: wear your Sentinel Grad 2021 mask to show off school pride! The following Spartans are displaying this exceptionally: Dahlia, Kiana, and Sam!

Although it’s a controversial topic, in our opinion, it is never too early to start getting into the festive spirit, no matter which holiday or festivity you choose to celebrate around December time! Old Navy has come out with an impressive line of holiday masks, and we feel that they must be recognized. I’ve personally got my eyes locked on the blue candy cane sloth mask!

Exceptional. Don’t worry, we weren’t going to exclude cats from the mask suggestions!
